🐰Okunoshima 大久野島🐰 or Rabbit Island is located in Hiroshima Prefecture. If you‘re staying in Hiroshima, Rabbit Island makes a great daytrip! 1. You go to Tadanoumi, either by train or bus (we chose the direct bus) 2. You buy a ferry ticket at Tadanoumi port, the store is right at the port. You‘ll reach the port within 5-10 minutes by foot from the train station. 3. We spent about 3 hours on the island, which was more than enough to walk around the whole island. We‘d recomment 2 atleast, 3 was almost too much, even if you can‘t get enough of bunnies! 😊 4. Make sure you take the earliest possible ferry to avoid the crowds! We arrived at 10:40 and had most of to island to ourselfs, it started getting very crowded around 12:00. .
